Phillip Adcock graduated Magna Cum Laude from Troy State University.  He studied music education and trumpet.  While at Troy, he played in every performance ensemble within the John M. Long School of Music.

Phillip Adcock has taught at Geneva High School since 2004.  Prior to this, he worked with numerous band programs throughout the Southeast as a clinician, and he also taught private trumpet.  His professional playing experiences include performances with the North Florida Symphony Orchestra, the Music South Symphony Orchestra, and various chamber ensembles.  Phillip also served eight years in the U.S. Navy.


Phillip was raised in Dothan and graduated from Northview High School.  He played trumpet extensively throughout the area.

Phillip is from a family that highly values education.  His father is an assistant vice president and director of development at the University of Alabama, and his mother directs the co-op program at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
